Coloro che avessero già visitato il mio sito forse avranno visto delle bandierine che permettevano la traduzione in quattro lingue più una (Americano)
Adesso ho deciso di ampliare le possibilità sempre basandomi sulla traduzione automatica messa a disposizione da Google. Considerando che questo gran numero di bandiere poteva generare confusione ho aggiunto la possibilità di visualizzare il testo che indica la lingua quando il mouse punta quella prescelta. Basterà copiare il codice qui sotto ed inserirlo nel proprio sito per avere automaticamente le proprie pagine tradotte in 25 lingue diverse.

Basterà immettere l'indirizzo del vostro sito al posto di Url del sito e copiare il codice nel punto che credete più opportuno. Nei primi due blocchi di codice che riguardano la lingua inglese in versione americana ed in versione Regno unito l'URL deve essere inserito senza i canonici http://. Naturalmente possono essere eliminate le lingue che non interessano ed eventualmente aggiungerne altre. La sintassi è la seguente

Al posto di lingua di partenza e di lingua di arrivo si inserisce il codice relativo che può essere ricavato da questa pagina in cui sono elencate tutte le lingue (quaranta) che Google riesce a tradurre. Per quanto riguarda l'indirizzo dell'immagine della bandiera in questo sito la troverete certamente. Se avete Firefox per completare la traduzione va cliccato su Permetti quando c'è la redirezione della pagina.
Se questo widget serva effettivamente per aumentare le visite è tutto da discutere, ma vedere il blog tradotto in cinese, giapponese o arabo, perlomeno a me, dà una soddisfazione non di poco conto.
